Terms of Service

Last updated 24 July 2026

These terms are an agreement between you and TENA SYSTEM (also operating as KeshoShop) and govern your access to and use of our retail and point-of-sale platform. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these terms.

1. The service

TENA SYSTEM provides a multi-tenant, cloud-based platform for retail and wholesale businesses — point of sale, inventory, sales and purchases, finance, and related tools. We may add, change, or remove features over time to improve the service.

2. Accounts and approval

To use the platform you must register a workspace for your business and verify your contact details. New workspaces are reviewed before activation; we may approve or decline a registration at our discretion, and we may require additional verification for regulated activities (for example, pharmacy operations).

You are responsible for your account and everything done under it. Keep your password and any one-time codes confidential, use accurate information, and tell us promptly at info@kesho.co.tz if you suspect unauthorised access. You must be authorised to act for the business you register and be of legal age to enter into a contract.

3. Your data and content

The business data you enter — products, customers, suppliers, sales, prices, and similar records — remains yours. You grant us the limited rights needed to host, process, back up, and display that data so we can operate the service for you. You are responsible for the accuracy and legality of the data you upload and for having the right to use it.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • use the service for any unlawful purpose or to store unlawful content;
  • attempt to access other tenants' data, or probe, scan, or breach security or authentication measures;
  • interfere with or disrupt the platform, or place an unreasonable load on it;
  • reverse engineer, resell, or sublicense the service except as permitted by law; or
  • misuse notifications (email/SMS) sent through the platform, including for spam.

5. Fees

Where a plan or fees apply to your workspace, they will be communicated to you. Taxes (including VAT) may apply. Fees for a paid period are non-refundable except where required by law or expressly agreed in writing.

6. Third-party services

The platform relies on third parties to function — for example, cloud hosting, email delivery, and SMS delivery for notifications and one-time codes. Your use of those channels is also subject to the relevant provider’s terms, and we are not responsible for their acts or omissions.

7. Availability and support

We work to keep the service available and reliable but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. We may perform maintenance, and we may suspend access where necessary to protect the service or other users. Support is available at info@kesho.co.tz.

8. Suspension and termination

You may stop using the service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these terms, if required by law, or to protect the platform or other users. On termination you may request an export of your workspace data within a reasonable period, after which we may delete it in line with our Privacy Policy and legal obligations.

9. Disclaimers and liability

The service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind to the fullest extent permitted by law. TENA SYSTEM is a business tool, not a substitute for professional accounting, tax, legal, or regulatory advice — you are responsible for your own compliance. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability is limited to the fees you paid for the service in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. When we make material changes we will update the date above and, where appropriate, notify you. Continued use of the service after a change means you accept the updated terms.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United Republic of Tanzania, and the courts of Tanzania have jurisdiction over any dispute, without prejudice to any mandatory rights you have under applicable law.
